Introduction to Airline Performance Monitoring

The Malaysian Aviation Commission (MAVCOM) is responsible for monitoring the performance of airlines operating within, into, and out of Malaysia. The main objective of this monitoring is to encourage airlines to improve their efficiency and service levels, resulting in a better overall experience for consumers.

The primary metrics used for monitoring are on-time performance (OTP) and flight cancellations. To know more, visit the Measurement Mechanisms page.
